If I'm right, it was on October the third, 2005 that the soapbox was closed due to the masses of funvampires that attacked and drained it of all things FUN. Soon it was closed, as if the mods had cut away a cancerous tumor. Such a heroic -yet saddening- act... I have decided to start this thread on the eve of its destruction as a testament to its former greatness. :hail:
A moment of silence please....

The soapbox lives on. It made a curtain call appearance for a short time on the first anniversary of its closing.
It exists to this day, but it is on life support and remains hidden away deep in the dungeon basement of the AT archives.
But the moment of silence today remains appropriate.:D

Ah yes, who can ever forget the mad ramblings of characters like Sharpbroadhead, Hammer and the like. I remember it like it was yesterday. Those were the days.

I thought it was a good move, it was counterproductive I thought and had nothing that would enhance the comradeship of archers, just the opposite. It made enemies and arguments galore and I felt it wasn't good for AT. I'm glad it is history the way it was. I think the newer version is alot better.

I've switched to body wash, myself, which only comes in 4 bottle cardboard flats.

Yep, I'm pretty much an easy going fellow and I don't care for name calling and dissension. It really got to me all the arguing and fussing about some things no-one could do anything about. All it did was cause hurt and pain, I thought. Thats how I saw it anyway!
