Hey guys i have done a lot of plumbing.

But i put this dry well in.And run a 4 inch trunk line drain .Now i will have 3--1 1/2 inch lines going to this 4 inch trunk line.To carry the kitchen sink and dish washer .And two other lines later.

My question ] i will have 2 lines going into a 1 1/2 inch Y fitting.Can i hook one up solid .And put a clean out plug in the other Y inlet. And then duct tape the fitting.Till i get time to run the other line. :rolleyes: :wink:

Yes you can no need to but a clean out on it just tape it off but for the kitchen sink and diswasher you should realy us 2" pipe if you do not have it vented even if you do 2" lets the new higher volume dishwasher run better and the sinks will folow better with 2" but you can us 1 1/2" if you want just my 2 cent worth being plumbing for 6 yrs now

Under my sink has a vent.
Now 2 inch line l agree would be better the 1 1/2 sink line will only be about 2 feet long before the water inters a 2 inch line.And then 2 feet to a 4 inch line.What do you think.
