I'm curious if you consider changing your equipment based on course conditions?
Example, very windy conditions.
> Do you add more weight to your setup? (stabilizer weights, etc)
> If you have multiple sight bars configured, do you go with a lower magnification setup so you don't catch as much movement?
> Do you consider shooting a release that you can "command" a bit more than a back tension?
Or do you dance with what you brought?

No I leave as is as well.
I shoot much better in the wind if my bow is optimized to hold steady and also use my release correctly. If I start commanding then I get target panic and my score drops.

I start out with my equipment prepared to handle the worst case scenario - you can never predict what the wind may do later in the day. I shoot the same setup for all outdoors venues but may change up for indoors

I have one bow set up for NFAA Field and shoot it the same each time. I also have a bow set up for FITA and another for indoor (20 yard) shooting. Arrows to match (tuned) for each.

So here is my 3d set up, Slayer, using max 3d selects 150, roughly the weight of the arrow 250 to stay in IBO guidelines, speed is 285. Accell sight6 inch bar viper scope and 27 in Cartel stab.So here is my questions what do I really have to change to shoot field? Or is my indoor set up better to use, P3 ,Hippo arrows weighing have no idea, CJA sight with 9 inch bar target scope with truspot lens. I do not use a lens for my 3d set up.

1st I would ask if you would feel comfortable with 112 shots in a day out of your Slayer? If you are then I would think that you are right there with your 3D set up and add a lens. If your not comfortable, the P3 with smaller diameter arrows, right now I am using ACE and my wife is using Navigators, is a great set up also. Thing I believe is that you have to be comfortable with your set up first and then everything else follows. I have only been shooting field for about a year, but I didn't find it difficult to shoot rather its alot of fun. Once you're hooked, the difficulty is in shooting the course well.
