I'm interested in learning an overall exercise program specific for archery. I develop neck and upper back stuff from shooting 'sometimes'. The chiropractor gets me going again, but I'd like to avoid needing an adjustment. Do Not send me the link with the person doing hand stand push ups. :wink: I'm soon to be 52--not a 22 year old Marine anymore:rolleyes:
Bowflex, home gym? What do you use or do?

Look at the sticky at the top of this forum for some good suggestions. I work out with kettlebells. The standing presses and pulls have dramatically increased my shoulder strength and made it much easier for me to draw a bow and do it many times. In fact, I've liked this so much, instead of moving up in draw weight, I've stayed at 60# because I can pull and hold forever, and not being sore the next day is a good thing.

Bowflex is also a good machine. I do perfer dumbbells and resisitance training.
