For a new guy - I see a lot of posts with regard to the 256MB & 512MB MSPro Cards. However, I found 1 &2gig cards at a reasonable price. Someone said the bigger cards slow the camera down a ton.
Is that true?
How much data can be stored on a 256MB or 512MB with regard to fine/best quality pics and video?

WHAT DOES THE HOMEBREW CREW reccomend?????

I am hoping to have my first Homebrew wrapped-up this weekend and I'm going to be anxious to get it in the field.

I run only 2 g cards in all my S600s. Acutally will run some 1 gb cards too.

S40, I stick to 1 gb cards. 2 gb in a 4 mp cam is over kill.

P32 and P41, 512 and 1 gb

I think the P32 (not 100% sure) was the camera that slows down with the larger memory sticks. I run P41's and most pictures are 1mb +/- per picture. If you check your cameras once a week to change the card and batteries, you really dont need anything bigger than 1gb.
