i just came back from my trip to portland,or.

i will have the flight to PDX again in august and i am wondering, if somebody can help:

i like to go bowhunting in OR, do i need a tag for rabbits/small game?
can i get a tag as foreigner?
can somebody recommend good places for rabbit within two hours of downtown portland?

thank you for your help...

Your best bet is to find a land owning farmer in the Willamette Valley south of Portland....They may have varmints that they would be glad for you to pop...

Although I'm not sure about whether you would need a hunting liscense for small game...

You definitely need a license for small game, but no tags are necessary.

As for rabbit hunting within two hours of PDX, that's more difficult. Camp Adaire, just outside of Corvallis, has rabbits, but without a dog, they're pretty hard to get out of the brush. By the way, Camp Adaire is no longer a military camp - it is managed for hunting by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
