Just want to see what the opinions are on range finders. I recently sold one of the older style Leica's on Ebay. Never had a problem, just like some of the newer models that are smaller and easier to handle. Need to get one before the season starts. Also considering the Swarovski so as to use it for both a range finder and binocular in one package and still not be to big and bulky. What would you choose?
I had the Leica Geovids BRF 8X42. All I can say is they are truly awesome! They weren't bulky at all. If you have the money, these are the only way to go IMO. My only complaint with them is the laser button is on the left hand side and since I am right handed if I was holding my bow with my left i couldnt activate the range finder with my right.
Other than that, I wish I had them back! I can't imagine having to use a separate device.
