: Quiver Qlamp-treestand quiver management
September 23rd, 2008, 10:05 PM
I would like to offer for sale an archery accessory I have started to make. I call it the Quiver Qlamp and it is for managing your quiver while hunting from a tree stand. Like many bowhunters, I like to hunt without a quiver on my bow. I made the first one of these for myself three or four years ago, because I got tired of looking for a secure place to put my quiver after I got settled on stand. Before, I’d try to hook my quiver on a branch or set it behind me on my climber. Now, with this handy device I can stow my quiver in a safe place in about 5 seconds by clamping it onto a branch or on my tree stand frame. Also, it's not a screw-in type mount which have legal issues on public lands.
The mounting plate of the Quiver Qlamp has the archery industry standard hole pattern for riser quiver mounting. I designed the Quiver Qlamp for use with a quick release bracket from quiver makers like Kwikee, Bohning or PSE. So you’ll need a quick release bracket on your bow and one on the Qlamp. But some of my hunting buddies use the Qlamp by itself as a quick release. They attach the Qlamp to their bow stabilizer during the walk in.
According to AT rules, I can only offer for sale the number I have on hand. So remaining from my initial run, I have (6) finished in flat black at $16 each, and (12) finished in Mothwing Woodland Mimicry (see photos) at $21 each. Shipping is on top of this price. This is a sturdy, little item that works. If you don't like it, send it back and I'll return your money. I am just getting started in this business, so if this offer goes well, I’ll be back with more. I will try and check this every evening (bow season starts Saturday). And since everyone I show this product to asks, yes I am working with a patent attorney.
If you’d like to see a basic QuickTime video of me using this product, send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send it to you. The video shows how quickly you can remove the quiver and stow it out of the way.
PayPal is preferred payment method.

This is a great product, I tried one last year when he was just getting started, I will allways have one in my fanny pac, from know on. I hunt from multiply stands that dont allways have a good place to hang my quiver. Just put your quiver in the clamp and you can secure anywhere. A must have.

I thought I'd add a few more photos of the Quiver Qlamp in use. As I said above, you can use the Qlamp by itself as a quick release quiver mount. In the photo showing the bow, I have my quiver attached to a Qlamp which is clamped onto my stabilizer. I use this set up when I use my climber. After I get settled and haul up my bow it takes about 5 seconds remove the quiver and attach it to my stand. The Qlamp easily fits onto 1" round or square tubing.

Was just wondering if you have any plans for a Matthews Quiver? It really looks good. Thank You Dave

Par Shooter, thanks for the reply. I have to say not at this time. I tried to develop the Quiver Qlamp to be as versatile as possible. Looking at the Mathews quivers online, they look to have a unique mount that I'd have to check out first. I use a Kwikee on my LX, so I don't have one to see in person. Happy hunting!

Just received my Quiver Clamp. Can't wait to use it. These are well built with a strong clamp - they should hold a quiver securely without any problems.
Great guy to deal with as well. Shipping was fast and communication was excellent.

I absolutly love my quiver clamp. I hate having a quiver attached to my bow. This gives me a good alternative to getting my arrows to and from my bow stand. IT also attaches securely enough to my stabilizer that spot and stalk excersises are still possible.
Thanks for a great product. Keep up the good work!!!

I got my qlamp earlier this week. It looks very functional. I like the fact that the spring in the qlamp is very stiff for a good hold while I'm scrambling for that second arrow. I can't wait until late October.

Great little contraption! It works really well for many applications. Strong grip. Love mine - I use it in the stands I don't have a permanant quiver mount on. Very handy.

Can I get one for an Alpine Soft-Loc quiver?
June 29th, 2010, 10:34 PM
The mounting plate of the quiver qlamp has the same hole pattern that your bow raiser has. So any quiver that you can attach to a bow riser will fasten to the quiver qlamp. However, you must use the quick release bracket supplied with the quiver you are using. So you may need two quick release brackets. I have gone to attaching my quiver to my qlamp and clamping the whole deal to my stabilizer. Depends on how you want to do it.

Best of luck, I will be getting another one this year, great product.

I absolutely love my Quiver Qlamp! I have had mine for two years and couldn't imagine hunting without it. However, in my stupidity, I broke my original clamp after getting it caught between the cable of my climber and the tree while I was maneuvering my climber last Saturday afternoon (I clamp my quiver to the cable of the top section of my Summit Goliath). I knew I couldn't live without one after hunting with it for two years, so I emailed John and he sent me out one right away!
Great product and a awesome guy to deal with!
But be forwarned this is a product you will not want to hunt without so buy two!
