Do a google search for g5 expertII and watch the video on installation. Watch the way he ties the cable in. He calls it a superknot, its a half knot on each side of the string, doing it several times, than he ends with a square knot.Hope this helps. I just put one on my bow.
I have'nt seen the instructions or any video. I assume your using a D-loop to attach the rest cord to a cable? Did you serve that area of the cable first?
I dont quite understand your post, but I'll try to help.
I just put an Expert 2 on my bow and works great!:thumbs_up
I burn a ball on the end of the cord and put the pull cord between the strands on the downward moving cable. I usually put it about even w/ the bottom of my grip and serve the cord in.
I have done this with ally my drop away rests and have had zero problems.
Like someone else said too....i think there is an instructional video on youtube.
I had some trouble with the "superknots" slipping, so I went about things a little differently. I run the cord through the downward bus cable (about even with the bottom of the grip), tie a knot and burn the end. Then I serve above and below with a continuous piece of knock-tieing thread. I use the same method that is used to tie in peeps like in this link - T-Bone Peep Sight Video. The end result is a lot cleaner too.
