I have a 2007 Bowtech Tribute, I noticed tonight my cams are not in the right spot, top is on the bottom and vise versa. I'm shootin good but what will this do to the bow? Should I get this fixed asap and refrain from shooting any more?
Yes I am shooting left handed, draw stop is on the bottom, is this going to be the correct positions? I just never noticed before, when looking at it the mods are facing the same side as the cable guide/slide.
The reason this all came about I went to put a set of speed mods on and noticed that I had to put the EFA 1 B on top and EFA 1 T on the bottom.
As you can see I don't shoot a bow like yours but I have heard on here that some manufacturers just put the cams on in reverse to make a bow left handed.
I think you are fine ! Maybe there are some design experts that will help?
Your cams are just fine. Being left handed they take the right handed cams and swap them. so your top mod will be on the bottom and the bottom mod will be on the top. You have been shooting it that way since day one. With a binary they are simmetrical so it does not matter which one is on top or bottom performance wise. It just makes a different on which side of the cam the cables are tracking.
Thanks guys! Everything else looks ok so I'll just keep shootin.:thumbs_up
