My Grandfather's Muley

My grandfather shot a 210-220" non-typical muley in Colorado in 1970 with this .300 Weatherby Mag (he still hunts with that gun). When he was loading it onto his mule/horse, it flipped over and broke a non-typical point off the G2.

The antlers have sat in his attic for 39 years.

I bought a cape for it and had my taxidermist do the mount.

Here are pictures in 1970 and 2009.

By the way......he will be 92 on May 12.

You're a good egg. I'm glad that worked out for the both of you and that looks like a great mount. :thumbs_up

Wish Grandpa a happy birthday from Colorado!
