if u scare a roosted bird and they fly off will they roost in that area again?they been roosting in around the same area for a couple years.a bird tonight roosted aBOUT 45 YARDS FROM US AND IT GOT REAL WINDY AND DIDNT HEAR HIM FLY UP.SO I started walking back to see if i could see any roosted birds and he flew off.i dont think he was up their long.
yes happend to me before think how many times they get bumped off there roost by other predators might not be back tommorow night but i give it a few ays he will be back to normal
Yep, Idaho has it. They usually wont go far either when spooked. I did this a couple weeks ago to birds that were roosting in just a couple trees. They flew down the ridge about 250-300yrds and stayed there till the next morning. That night they were right back to the same area in the same few trees. Dont worry they will be back. Good luck
