As the UK has some of the worst gun and hunting laws in the world we cannot hunt with bows and need to travel to hunt. I would like to hear for Brits who hunt and anyone else who can recommend a good place to come to for friendly welcome and good hinting.
I will come soon, Africa is expensive enough to be a rarity and with a child on the way my trips will have to be more economic now. Love to come to the US or Canada soon.
Cannot hunt with bows! Yikes, and I thought things were bad here in the States. Thanks for the heads up. Can you take the train or ferry to Nord-Pas-de-Calais?
bearbridge ranch florida for hog hunting. david mills in florida for wild turkey and hogs. also great theme parks.i received a great welcome.can't wait to go back
Yes France is the cheapest but I really fancy the US and Canada. I need to buy all my Broadheads from the States so I can tune my bow but so many people think even that is illegal (it is not). I can hunt rabbits with an air rifle with 12fpe but not with an 80fpe bow???
You can bowhunt here in Italy, and there is plenty of great game to take here.
I've got fallow, red, roe, boar and mouflon on my property in Tuscany, and I hunt chamois in the alps, this year I will try to take one with the bow. Not a simple task, but last year I got one at 34 and one at 14 meters with my rifle, so I know it can be done.
Drop me a PM if you're interested in hunting in Italy.
i think you can bow hunt in France, Spain, possibly Italy. But from what i understand, Hungary is a popular destination. i havent looked into it too much, but there seems to be hunting trips available there. i havent been hunting yet, but its definitely a goal of mine! the laws in the UK are crap when it comes to bow hunting.
