Shoulder Structure of a white-tail (pic included)

I got this picture on my trail camera and thought it showed off the bones in the shoulder really well and thought it would be a good resource for others as well.

Actually, I think there's one better. If that deer was in the same position but with the near leg forward more it would be the perfect shot. At least for me it is. But with that said, I'd take that shot any day of the week.

TRUE! but if I hit anywhere behind the the shoulder AND hit the opposite shoulder I don't mind if I don't get a pass through. The deer will be dead within 50-150 yards.
