Hi my name is Ryan I am a new user of this forum. I have aquestion about a Bear bow I bought the other day. I would like to know what year this bow was made. It is a Grizzly 62'' and 54# . It says glass powered Grizzly on the limb. It also has the1953 patent on it . It can be shot either left or right handed. the serial number is gm359 If anyone can help I'd appreciate it Thanks HERSH

I'm guessing your Bear Grizzly is probably a 1954. It also has the brush nocks and is right and left handed with a leather grip
I've got a 1954, 2-1959 and a factory camo 1961.. These older bows were
a standard 62" long. I think around 1963 or 1964 they became a standard 58"
in length. Nice bows.
