It looks to me from your avitar that we share a passion for wilderness canoeing. Is that true and where do you do most of your tripping?

I see you have a LH Carbon Element for sale. A girl friend of mine is desperately looking for one. What is the lowest weight and draw length you could achieve with your set-up? 26" may be a tad too long. Is it possible to get any shorter at all? I'm not at all familiar with Hoyt, but she is in love with the element - mostly the weight and look. Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks,
    Jim-

I was wondering if you can tell me with the Carbon Matrix Plus set up at 27" draw length with a ripcord rest, if an arrow cut at 26" will be about an inch past the rest or about equal with the berger hole(think thats what its called). From reading your post seems like you might know. Know one in MS has this bow yet and I wanted to start making my arrows. Thank you. Chambliss

Man I got to know how your matrix is holding out with the spirals. I want to do the same thing. Did you change limbs ? What string and cable lengths did you have to use? Did it void warranty? Did it make the bow that much efficient or faster? Just curious and very envious.

Seen in one of your posts that you put Spirals on a CM. What kind of speed you getting and does the bow feel ok through the draw cycle with the spirals and arc limbs? What is your peak weight now compared to before? How does the valley compare to the Alphaburner? Looking to pick up some speed and consistancy with My Brother in Laws Matrix. My Maxxis is consistantly 15 fps faster at the same poundage and only 1" draw length advantage with the same arrow. He is feeling a little jipped in the speed department.

    Sneak1413,
I have a Carbon Matrix and am going to either put a Boss/Tommy Hogg or a MBG Ascent on for hunting/3D. For ease of use the Boss with dial in back would be # 1 choice, Ascent would be second and the Tommy Hogg 3rd since you'd have to cant your bow to read the dial. The factors of weight and pin brightness are also important. My intent is to have 4 pins, 3 at .019 and use the 4th pin at .010 and set that pin up to use for everything from 20 to whatever I can get for 3D. Light at sunrise and sunset are critical for me plus I do alot of hunting in a blind (in ND lights are illegal). I am even considering a 20 yard pin @ .029 but was told it's not needed on a MBG. At his point I don't even know if th Boss Hogg will even fit my CM. Thanks for your help! NDPronghorn

    Hello Bryce,
I am tring to find out if the Hot Pursuit Heated grips work worth a darn? You know anyone tried them. I am tring to order some from Sportsman's Warehouse, but they seem not to be able to get BowTech to call them back. Do you still work at shop the sells Bow Tech. If they work I would like to have some order overnight so I can have them Thanksviving weekend.

    Thanks

Talk to Drew QAD customer service he's very helpful been talking to him since this a.m. but my rest still not rotating far enough 90 deg. to line up the timing marks. He ran out of ideas and that's the end of my QAD rest I will install back my WB today never have any problem with tihs rest. Kind na suck to spend $104 and it won't even work thinking of selling it back on E-bay or maybe AT classified add on left handed section. Man this is a bummer I really like to try it out.

If I tip the back of the rest, how hard would it be to tune the bow? also at full draw my launcher was not at 90 deg. tried to pull down on timing string it will not move.
