IBO 325 (336 w 75% let off)
+1 Ordered a set from 60X on Sunday when they were closed, and they were in my mailbox after work on Thursday the same week. He ran a 13% off sale the Friday before my order (Friday the 13th), and a...
Bet when those cams hit the stops after release the bow jumps out of your hand and goes further than the arrow lol.
+1 If I ever decided to shoot a ChillX, I'd order static strings and put them on before it ever left the shop. But I wont, because I shoot a Hoyt.
This is from Dan McCarthy's facebook.
CHILL-X REVIEW AND TIPS
"I've been getting asked a ton of questions about my Mathews Chill-X. So here's a rundown.
-I shoot the 75% Rock Mods and highly...
Also, right or left handed. My buddy had to switch to cock vane out to get clearance past the cables.
Looks like they used Scorpion Venom and weather proof string grease. Shouldn't attract dirt any more than wax already does. And if it let's the floating yoke actually float, then there you go.
I was just about to mention that. Couple other threads have mentioned fixing their tear by lubing the yoke rings. If I remember correctly, they had to put it in the press to do it right.
If you want a better back wall, just put a Bomar stop on it.
How did the shop respond when you said "new bow?" I think the shop will determine weather or not this leaves a sh---y taste in your mouth. If they really try pushing the new limb method, I'd say they...
I'm using the 2 piece Hoyt Arrow Rack quiver. I'm really happy with it and it's silent.
I found this buy on craigslist. I bought one of them. They are new in package besides to take pictures. Just wanted to let everyone know. I think he has 2 left. Said he bought them before the season...
Just saw the ebay listing in the previously sold items. I'd be pissed too lol. He's only got one other thing for sale right now, so as long as nobody is buying a Mathews Reezen, you're safe to ebay...
I'm curious to know how much it stretched. Is Brad gonna check it on the stretcher?
Axcel armortech. You can get the dovetail mount seperate if you choose. It sticks forward pretty far as is. Here is one from the classifieds in your price range. Looks to be a 5 pin....
That's awesome! That pretty much guarantees I'll be a life long customer.
Just curious, what draw length are you shooting? I'm a 29 and my plan is to get the 34 #2 cam.
Looks like your bow specs out perfectly for the 34 #2 cam. That's the bow I will be bringing home soon and can't wait! Enjoy your sweet rig!
What cam did you get? The #2 cam is slightly smaller diameter and brings down the brace height to 6.500", the #3 cam should be 6.750.
I was really impressed with the ChillX. Helped a buddy do a basic tune till the strings settle. Only a couple minor complaints. It felt way more top heavy than I'm used to. And the cable system....
28.5/64 85% 365gr 307 fps.
That thing will never ever shoot the same. NEW BOW!
I've seen people remove the nock and drop a drill bit into the shaft, Chuck side towards the insert. The bit needs to be as big as possible but still drop in easily. Then put the nock back on, point...
I pulled it from the Az Custom Bowstrings Facebook page. So, it's possible it has made the rounds.
Well why didn't you tell us about being a cookie nazi? Of course she rag dolled your bow! You had it commin.
Also, arrow weight could be a culprit.
Have you tapped it all over with the heel of your hand to try isolating a buzz or vibe?
Just make it clear, the bow is getting fixed regardless of what happened, and as a result you'll have to cancel any movie/dinner/whatever date she may have been looking forward to. Or you can throw...
I don't know the exact process Elite uses when they bake their limbs, but I'm fairly certain they aren't under load. One of the local string builders here in Az posted a couple bows that customers...
