bump for a great bow!!!
they look good
take a minute and check out Athens!!!
Athens 2015 line up is very strong.
some the the best looking and best shooting bows on the market.
and yes i'm a Athens Staff...
D-Bak it could be the bottum limb pocket making a little noise.
if so a little greese will fix that problem.
i have had new bows pick up as much as 7fps within the first week of shooting ...
after setting up several bows from the big four and seeing what they call acceptable when it comes to DL.
I consider a 1/8" spot on!!
the Athens that i own and have set up has been right on the money when measured on my draw board.
i will be ordering a Virtue.
i like a little longer ATA. i think the 35" will be perfect for
3D as well as hunting.
my Judgement will still be my target bow.
but that might change in 2016.
it's going to be a very busy year for Athens with the Virtue and Solace added to the line up!!!
the Virtue will be my next purchase.
both bow look amazing!!
A Virtue will be my next purchase.
i'm really wanting to see the 2015 line up.
i was thinking about a new target rig but my Judgement shoots to good .
i just can't see replacing it yet.
so i will be selling either my Recluse or my...
i don't think Athens dealers are suppose to be selling on line.
but i might be mistaking. good question for Rodney
i agree. Jarrod was never to busy to talk or answer any questions.
he brought a lot to the archery community and will be missed.
prayers for his family and VT.
Personally I think the best over all rest
Would be the Hamskea versa Rest.
So many set up options to choose from
And it is built like a tank!!
Anything from Black Gold.
extremely bright pins without a sight light and no halo.
you can see your pins when it's to dark to see your target!!
100% No questions asked warranty. built strong and...
i had TP in a bad way.punching the trigger, jerking my bow arm everytime my pin was on a dot or the 11 ring of a 3D.
it got to the point that i could not even enjoy shooting.
then i picked up a...
i tell you guys, i cant think of anyone that is more deserving.
Cat is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. always greets you with a smile.
good things do come to good people. Congrats again...
thats a Great buck!!
Cat... you are the man!!!
the Scotts longhorn hex is a great release to learn with.
you draw the bow with the wrist strap so there is no chance
of hitting yourself in the face.
I have had good luck with the blue meta peeps.
3/16" is what i use on my hunting bow.
you want your peep to line up and match your sight housing at full draw
as close as possible. this will insure...
this will answer any questions that you might have.
i have been hunting with a Recluse since the beginning of 2012.
fast ,quiet , smooth draw and extremely accurate.
the bow has a amazing grip as...
bump for a great guy and bow!!
agreed. a draw board is very simple to build. use the search button to find threads on building one.
if you need help just send me a PM. i would be happy to help.
a draw board is a great tool. its like having a extra set of hands. you can really check out a bow
and know exactly what it is doing throughout the entire draw cycle.
i use mine all of the time.
do not over look Athens.
Athens has a few great bows out right now
that offers everything on your list.
and the TRX.
I am a Athens staff shooter. i do...
you really cant go wrong by choosing either one.
both have been around long enough and have produced enough quality strings
to build a very strong foundation for there business.
that being said....
i usually set mine up on a draw board.
i can watch the scale through the bows draw cycle.
i have also used it on a ceiling hook with no problems.
but you are correct. it does not have the peak...
