Would seem ideal for shooting over a feeder but I'm not sure how effective it would be in the Midwest
No got it from the Polaris dealer in Beardstown Illinois
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you fellas.
We were dirt poor growing up and living in south Fla there aren't any big bucks so I didn't get into hunting until I was in my late teens early twenties. As soon as I bought my first hunting rifle...
Good thread. I was just about to write up one myself. I have Redneck, shadow hunters and blind turtles. I'm looking for advice on what else is out there.
Here are my pros and cons ;
They can't grow if you take them young.
Case in point. This is one example 3293306
We have several areas in our farms where no one steps foot in unless it's to blood trail. You can't fathom how many deer come in and out of there. This past Friday I had 23 does and bucks come and go...
Congrats to you both. Wish my boys would have the Bowhunting bug they haven't yet. Maybe some day
Whatever suits you junior. I for one have learned a great deal by using the search feature so take my comment any way you like. No one on here minds helping a fellow hunter so ask whatever you like...
Jesus Darrin. I sure hope it's nothing. Heres a prayer sent your way my friend.
Of course. You can also use the search feature. Whatever you need to know has probably already been asked and answered here
Just search for my threads and you might have enough to read for an hour or two. My only hiccup was recently when my bow went out of time and I hit my hit lister high twice. Ulmers are my preferred...
Great buck. Well done
Huge congrats to you buddy. Well earned and great write up.
No I didn't it started raining and I've been nursing a tough cough so I didn't participate. When I see them I will ask. I can say they his rack is smaller and his body weight went down in a big way....
I'm not too certain were going to find a dead buck at the end of this tale but here's what happened. My oldest son had a hot doe come through his food plot today followed by a big 12. He couldn't get...
I saw 10 bucks and 13 does this am. A bunch more this afternoon up until they winded us and blew out of the food plot. They've taken 3 eights from my other farm this week all mature bucks that had...
Here's another angle. You all might recall a certain thread last year titled something like "no mans land". Well ...this is the buck that thread was about. He's been on the farm on and...
My neighbors son shot a buck we call Frank this afternoon during gun season. He's put in many all day sits this year and deserves this buck.
That's a monster feather !!!! Congrats
Way to go Squid
Yep. Definitely once in a lifetime material. The hunter is a super nice guy from Jacksonville Florida. I chatted with him a bit this year and he told me the story of the hunt. He missed him on the...
This is a guy I know that hunts half a mile from my farm rumors go that the buck spent some time on part of my farm at some point in his life but that another neighbor talking.
Deer do in fact eat Osage orange. I couldn't believe my eyes when I had an 8 pointer just eating the oranges this year. I don't think it's a preferred food source but they do eat them
Wait a second she bred him? Lol
It's looking like a total slaughter this weekend boys.
Cost me a broken grunt tube but called him to within ten yards. I dare him to come near me when he's all grown up.
