Seems like Halloween is when all hell breaks loose. LOL The last week of October great. I love pre-rut action. I would call this the chasing phase of the rut. The peak rut usually happens...

    Love the "old" pics "ahunter55".
Reminds me of the ones my grandfather used to show me. Very "nastalgic" and "real cool"!

I wouldn't worry to much about it. If you get bit contact your local hospital and find out if there's an "advisory" for the area. Hospitals put out "advisories" when cases of "limes disease" are...

I work a seven day rotating shift.
I go from days, then afternoons, and midnights. We can call off 3 times in 6 months and not get in trouble. We don't have to give a reason for calling off.

    Recommend a fishing webdite

I know this has nothing to do with bow hunting, but I always seem to get good info from the guys on this site. I'm looking for a fishing website(ie; blog). Something that would be on par with Archery...
  9. Who has their opening morning stand/spot picked out?

I've settled on two different locations. Which one I hunt will depend on the wind direction.

Climbing Sticks... Best set for the money

Lots of good option for that height. Some are lighter but cost more, and some cost less but are heavier.
If you want to spend a little more and be lighter, I'd go with either Lone wolf or Muddy...

I like to be at least 20' but if the cover is at 15', that's where I'll hang my stand. If in hunting an area where the trees give little or no cover I hang them 25'.
    20-25' is a good average.

I would choose cover over height but if there was minimal cover id get as high as possible and position my stand so the tree trunk was between me and the direction the deer would come from.
