muzzleloader in the pic ... might be a special hunt.
Got a link to this video? I got to see this for myself.
All scopes are etched glass these days as far as I know. Basically, that etched glass plate that had his multi-recticle on it came loose somehow.
bone74, can you post a picture of the reticle?...
Yeah, had it happen on a scope on my rifle before. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality scope ASAP and sell the other piece as soon as they warranty it.
what are we talking about?
X-bow advantage ... not nearly as much muscle fatigue. Holding a vertical bow back at full draw for a minute or more sucks when a deer has you pegged.
yup, friction at work.
Google Maps for scouting, especially on my phone
Accuweather.com for hour-by-hour wind speed, direction, and rain.
Any app for moon phase data.
Apps on my phone for taking notes, pictures,...
With my Matrix 380 and 415gr bolts I am getting 366fps.
put some socks on.
Buy a better string next time such as a Boo string or a JBK.
since you said it was his first time shooting it, you might have a few issues. the string will need to stretch and settle in and probably needed to be adjusted.
next, make sure the scope rail to...
You know, I was more pissed at the archery shop for two reasons: 1) Not teaching safety first and 2) leaving them unsupervised for 5-10 minutes.
1st incident was a guy standing next to me shooting his compound bow and one shot sounded like a .22 going off. Quick check and his nock had blown apart upon release. These things happen...
I knew I would lose a slight bit of speed for some sound reduction. No big deal.
PM your address and I'll send you a few pieces to try.
Silicone tubing ... same as slingshot band material except the stuff I have has a thicker wall. There are other materials that could be used as well. We just need to experiment first :)
For all you recurve crossbow shooters who want to reduce string slap noise against the limbs. I, like many others on this site, tried the OMP stick-on Remedy limb suppressors. Most people had issues...
Replaced my trigger assembly shortly after purchase with a TriggerTech and no longer have a need for this piece. Does not include trigger blade. $45 includes S&H via USPS Priority.
Like everyone else, I've upgraded my trigger on my Matrix 380 to a TriggerTech. Is there a market to sell the factory trigger? Will I get much for it?
even with lapping, you'll never get 100% contact. good aluminum rings dont need lapping as much. i always lap steel rings as the small machining burrs will scratch a nice gloss black or silver scope.

pricey, but awesome.
i need a new bowstring for my 2008 Diamond Liberty hunting bow. my
only real criteria is that it pretty consistently aligns my metapeep everytime. what brand/model do you guys recommend these days?
well finally got mine last week. the tip is very sharp, but the chisel tip is 60 degrees out of phase with the blades and i dont care for that. next up, the amount of threads are too short, even...
I made up my own black beauty earlier this year. Love it!
Ive got a set on order directly from Grim Reaper. Hopefully I'll have them in 1-2 weeks.
I wonder how much money they make on each 310. Reminds me of General Motors with their Metro. Sold everyone at a loss.
Bare Matrix 310 - $625
Bare Matrix 405 - $930
All the bows in the Matrix series are pretty much the same. All differences such as rail length, finish, etc are all pretty minor. Quite a price...
