There are two wrong ways to load a half moon and only one correct way. Moon nocks also tend to have a lot of sharp angles that can cause string damage, even if loaded correctly.
They were also 26 inches wide which made the flat nocks fine to use. Bows are much narrower now and the flats do not work.
The Nitro is quieter due to the carbon barrel and the fact that the barrel is bedded in rubber where it mounts to the stock, just like the Venom and Phantom.
