What I use. XSight by Richard C. Brown
Assumptions/opinions, same difference. I shot the Hoyt UltraTecs from 2000 up to when they were discontinued, 11 or 12 of them. Said was the Seven37 the replacement of the UltraTec and super fine....
What I use.
How are your black yardage marks as per distance, 1 yard, 5 yards?
Just wondering as the Brown Program can print a "cheat sheet" to your scale in 1 yard increments. ASA legal, you don't have to...
Long as in name or long as in axle to axle? Long ata bows are all over the place. Check the Classifieds on AT.
Don't have a problem with mine....Still, a little of the blue (?) Loctite might help. Even Elmer's rubber cement.
If you want higher FOC there's no stopping you, but if you have excellent accuracy at 11% why worry?
I haven't used a index release in years, but can say I shot some of my finest with one, a Scott Mongoose. 3D, Indoor, Outdoor and Field, piece of cake. I often wonder why I changed....peer pressure...
Agreed. And like Padgett, practice with a brick or any object that would give odd stances. Worst case I ever ran into, I had to kneel on one knee.
One step farther....After reading all to this point, all are making assumptions and not one person owning or shooting one.....
Everyone seems well on track. The hooded peep, that's for one to decide. I've had two and didn't care for them, not that they didn't work. If any distraction, it's shooting with sun issues at the...
Figure TRU Ball's top end back tension releases are all right at $210.00, wonder what the HBX will run? Wonder if all springs are included?
Tuning was pretty much straight forward, no issues. Dave Tetrick, owner of Pearson, sure knocked over some ASA ProAms last year and won the Classic, all with his MX2. So far my MX2 shoots great, but...
Say what you will, but if you have that much vibration something is amiss.....
Do a Search here. Bunches of pictures. Here's some Drawing is that given by many. Black grip by nuts&bolts. Levi Morgan. Two training aids or wear full time, the True Shot Coach and Slick Shot.
ASA forum. Mike approved them. Said they didn't tear up a target as bad as regular field points.
Not always, but a good majority of times there is spreading your feet wider. Feet close, like sort of normal, one tends to bend one knee. Feet wider and one can have straight legs and still maintain...
And then there is the High Country Archery Speed Pro Max arrows, 5.5 and 6.2 grs per inch. HCA lists two of their bows hitting 390 and 405 fps.
Think tank....People sell/get rid of bows quick,...
Bee Stinger. Running 30" front and two 12s on back. Quality and seems to work. Got lucky and picked up 30 Stinger -1- ounces weights for $25.00. Don't need them, but have them. Not for sale ;)
Well, try this. Pictures and a bunch of springs.....http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2446257
Read #2 and 3. They ain't joking... Worked at this shop for 5 years. It closed. $7 per hr plus $2 for every hour after was too much.
16 lanes. Choice of 15 3Ds or shoot twice for 30.
There is Bow Novice, 30 yards max and known yardage. Open C was changed this year from 50/50 to all known, so still new though a old class.
The bow and you are the determining factor. I have one bow with two back bars and one bow with a left back bar.
4X and 6X and no clarifier. Outside and distance I need a #1 clarifier for the 6X.
Well, regardless of the chit-chat, this is still a "Gear" thread and should be put there.
Yes, Tom. The Evolution and Element. I don't know if a real difference, but watched a Shooter trying to shoot the Evolution with back tension. He was trying to the point of failure. I saw he was just...
Well, magnets have proven to help in certain things. Arthritis and painful joints/injuries. 2006, out of commission with back out of place and slipped discs (one ruptured) the hospital put one of...
Thank you. :thumbs_up
What's the IBO rating? And then try this.
2 fps / 1 # of draw weight
10 fps / 1” of draw length
1 fps / 3 grains of arrow weight
1 fps / 3 grains of weight on the string
Well, if Dale is off base so are you. Cam system makes no difference. Timing can make a difference. Some like to advance the top cam.
By and large many of the bows I've set up have had nocking...
