I agree 100%.
Case and point.
I get a kick out of this debate every year. Im not sure if people dont read, or understand what is being said here. There is always that guy that says " I saw 25 deer in a corn field last night, they...
He at taxi now, but I did a rough measurement, never really done it before. To give you an idea Left G2 12 inches, G3s were 9-10 inches, main beam 25 inches, not sure on brows. The mass measurements...
Was curious what yall thought he'd score? I was guessing low-mid 40s?
Thats a pig. I fished the South Holston with a good friend years ago. Ive caught a few good ones biggest went 7lbs 2oz in the New River years ago. Hope to make it back there sometime soon.
Sat yesterday in Loudon till around 1pm. First skunk of the year, had a couple come through before daylight, and about 30 turkeys mid-morning but that was it. Hunted in Western Loudon 11-dark today...
Thanks! FFX county (Clifton Area)Buck.

Slow hunt yesterday afternoon, young buck came through cruising round 4pm. Then right at dark this bruiser came in hot on a doe. She brought him to the base of my tree where I got a 10 yd shot.. It...
Sat in Loudon yesterday afternoon, was windy but still had 8 does come in to my clover plot. I drew on biggest one at 28 yds was going to shoot in between wind gusts. Just as I was gonna let it fly...
Yeah he did have me shakin pretty good , real nice frame , and I'm not into scoring deer but I think there are older /bigger deer in area. Don't think he was more then 120, should be hammer next year!
Had a great morning hunt yesterday in FFx cty, tons of does, young bucks chasing grunting, had a borderline shooter under my stand at 10 am let him go. This morning hunting Loudon farm slower...
I think you might be dead on - after looking on google images I do believe that is what it is. Too bad not a preferred food choice for deer.... oh well they got plenty of clover.
Was just curious if anyone could tell me what this is? Noticed several coming up in clover plots. Thanks.
Early morning pic, thinking she is just fat an happy?
I wondered about this one, but might just be fat on clover who knows.
Wouldve been interesting to see him in another year..
Im guessing Lab Chow mix of some sort. Well fed indeed.
Thats what I was thinking, Ive gotten pics of Yotes a few miles away but never at this farm.
Pulled cards this weekend and got this pic, looks to be a domestic dog but can't say for sure. Seems to be coming through around 1-2 am couple nights a week. Not greatest pic but what do you guys...
Yeah I understand where Lee is coming from, I guess my theory would be better in a diff thread. A farm I hunt the land owner walks his dog pretty routinely and deer are used to his presence. I have a...
Passing a buck 5 yrs in a row is human pressure is it not?
Guess I am the weary one!Been a long week. Gonna try to shoot a turkey in the head in the rain tomorrow-- if I can get out of bed!!
Call me crazy and Ive only been hunting 10 years or so, but people always talk about the 4-5 year mark being tough to tag a bruiser. And then 6 plus the deer are more visible and their home range...
That sucks man sounds like a sweet piece of land. Just curious why would you need non- resident tags if you lived 5 miles away? Or did I miss something?
Good luck tomorrow VA boys!
A few more days boys! Hoping to get my brother his first bird. Im gonna try to wack one with a bow no blind, he will have the shotgun in case, or potential double if these two show up.
Rain will have em in the fields, if you got fields Id go friday. Wind is tough.
