Bump for a good deal
Good, well-written post.:darkbeer:
I shot the Mathews No-Cam the other day only out of curiosity. I will not be buying a new bow this year.
I'm not a bow snob, I'm more of a "bow tramp," I'll own any bow brand bow that shoots well...
The camouflage on those binos are EXCELLENT!
I voted polish. If you can make it shine like a mirror, I think it'll easily sell.
Very well said.
They worked fine for you, but now you aren't going to use them anymore??
I use the Carter Just Cuz+, not sure how loud it is. I can tell you that the deer and turkeys that I have shot whie using it, neve heard a thing.
PayPal for me.
Money orders are great if you still send telegrams, hand-crank start your car, send letters through the mail, and shave with a straight razor.
I don't think that arrow weight caused your problem.
I've shot shot hogs, deer and rams with 370 grain arrows and got pass-throughs on many of them with mechanical heads.
my buddy and I shoot in his garage at 13 yards, 13 is only 65% of 20 yards. So, we took 5 spot targets and shrunk them on a photo-copier until they were 35% smaller.
We have a good time while...
That is SWEET!
Getting back to the original question........
I turn my 60# 3D bow down to 50# for indoors. However, when tuning to my different arrows, it shot best when turned back up to 52#. Much easier to...
Ok, I've learned something new.
Just use an ultra-light weight shaft and then put in weights behind your insert. Your FOC will be up there.
I shoot my best when my elbow is bent, definitely not locked.
HOWEVER, many shoot their best with their elbow locked, whatever works for you.
Me too, some of my son's old soccer socks.
Shooting at 100 yards is a great time. We do it all the time.
Like bukfever said, just move your peep up slightly. Or change to a smaller pin housing.
Those arrow/vanes are making contact with that rest, plain and simple. You can see the white drag marks across it.
Fix that first.
Shoot both bows. The only way to know is for you to decide which bow is better for you. Sorry, but our opinions won't choose the best bow for you.
If you can't fletch your feathers further back because of your fletching jig, just use 3.5" feathers instead of 4".
I have two PSE Supras that I have bought used on here in the past year and a half. Great bows. I hunt with one and shoot 3D/spots with the other. I paid under $350 for each one.
I bought a pair of Under Armor at Dick's Sporting Goods last fall. I like them a lot.
I have the Ridge Reaper jacket and I like it a lot.
I also have the UA insulated neoprene boots (similar to Muck) and they are fantastic.
I bought the Under Armor boots last fall, they are fantastic.
I didn't know if all of the hype about UA products was for real or not, but these boots are warm, comfortable and get good traction.
