Very nice, congrats.
I wanted to try either the Ayton or the Rut but couldn't find it locally so I bought the UA Speed Freek jacket this year. I really like it, it is water and wind resistant (actually works), and warm...
I switched from a Bowtech Experience to an RPM 360 this year and I really like it. I think it is just as smooth or smoother than my Experience was. At 58# it is pretty quick, it is quiet (just as...
Nice bow! Scott is a great guy to deal with. He sold me my RPM 360.
I have had two back surgeries and they mentioned a third and I said no way. Regardless of the stand I can only make it about 4 hrs and I HAVE to walk before my back stiffens up too badly.
I shoot all season 2-3 times a week. I do not want to assume my bow and or/me are still shooting fine. I like to be certain. I may only shoot a few arrows but I shoot.
I was once at half draw on a decent 8pt when my release broke and I jerked because I wasn't excepting it to go off. My arrow stuck about 8ft up a tree over top of the bucks back LOL.
Mine is 28.5"@58# and I have shot both a 369 grn and 440 grn arrow and I did not notice any difference in noise or vibes between the two arrows.
I almost hit a big 10 pt about a mile from my house this morning at 5am on my way to work. I would have gladly shot it if I saw it in the woods, but I don't want a buck bad enough to total my car...
Actually Lone wolf stands have a 350# rating not 300 as stated earlier.
I use a 3 pin adjustable sight; Montana Black Gold Ascent. 3 pins for Eastern whitetails (20,30,40) but adjustable for practicing longer ranges and I hope to go out west next year for pronghorn or...
Lots of scrapes in NE Ohio, I hunted all day yesterday and didn't see any bucks moving though.
They were made in China in 2010 only. But that was enough time to have a bunch of China made Lone Wolf stands.
Seems slow to me. I sold an Experience recently and people keep telling me it was a super price but it still took me awhile to sell it.
I am a huge QAD HDX fan. I am not sure I will use a different rest on a hunting bow unless they stop making them or change them for the worse or something.
I'd buy a huge farm and have an annual AT hunt. No fanboys or whiners allowed  .
I never do all day sits, my back can only take 4 hours or so in a stand. Sometimes I will sit 10-2 or 11-3 though to cover the afternoon hours.
And last I checked Afterburn didn't make an H version. I tried Nock-Outs but went back to Nockturnals after some failures with the NO's. I looked at Afterburn's but I use Easton H shafts.
I have been using Nockturnals for two seasons and have yet to have one fail. The one I sent through a doe a month ago still works great even.
I prefer to take a doe early in the season if I am going take one.
I agree with the guys that say Muddy. I love mine, 3rd season with it and I have forgotten I had it on and walked into stores after for a coffee still wearing it LOL.
I recently switched from an Experience to an RPM 360. I have a little vibe at the shot now but I love this 360. Both were/are 28.5" draws but the Experience was 68# and the RPM is 58#. I did not have...
Wow this is new, guys in AT bashing Bowtech. You never see that...LOL. [emoji2]
I never sit all day. I have a bad back and can only take 4-5 hours max in a stand. I will sometimes hunt 10-2 or 11-3 instead of a morning or afternoon sit though.
Agreed. I would not have spent my own money to send back their mistake. A motorcycle shop once shipped me two sets of hard luggage by mistake and tried to say if I didn't send the second set back...
Watch this video (not mine) around the 4 minute mark. Try at your own risk LOL.
I like 30-32" bows. My last three bows that all shot very well for me; Assassin 30.625", Experience 32", RPM360 31" (current bow). So I'd say I like shorter bows.
I have a lot of it. The only thing that I don't love, just like, are the base layers. I have 2.0 base layers that are good but not under 40 degrees really unless you are moving. I have early season...
Last season I wore Under Armour 2.0 under Cabela's E.C.W.C.S polar fleece and if it got cold (less than 30) I got cold in the stand. I bought some merino medium weight this year and so far I am not...
