Not until after the Olympics... :)
A college degree with an MBA or PHD is commonly used as a benchmark for success. Obviously, it can't hurt. However, it may not be a guarantee to success. I was just at a Hospital Association...
Here is a very good article on Sportsmanship that I found in "KidsHealth"

Jim, your degree of knowledge is incredible!
Expecially since the JOAD Nationals has been moved next year to two weeks later into July.
I agree with Tom. Based on the qualifications needed to make the team, the two boys tied, and therefore deserve to be treated the same. It just wouldn't have seemed fair to have one disqualified...

Congratulations to the 2008 Junior Male Compound Jr. USAT team. All six members of this year's team (six because of a tie for 5th place) were in the Cadet Division last year, and this was their...
Warbow, I haven't heard this term before. Is it Karl "Rovian"?
Ann, that is an excellent question and would be a great subject of another thread. Why don't you post that thread and see what comes out of it?
Now, how do you define "slammed". Does simply...
Ann, it is simply their opinion. You also have an opinion. Why should anyone's opinion be more important than any other? No one has a right to silence the other. If you don't like what is being...
This is one of the few threads on which I have commented on that a few others have actually defended what I was saying. I kind of hate to see it go away.

Some may think that arrogance and confidence are the same...
I think there is good debate on the subject, your opinion included. If you don't like it, you certainly aren't being forced to read it. But don't try to make other's stop discussing it...
The accident is probably not going to happen at an official "training center". The accident is going to happen at an amatuer range where someone less capable has seen "the elite" do it at a national...
Getting in your car, walking to school and drinking water don't usually involve sharp pointed objects traveling at high speeds. Risks may be part of life, but greater risks are part of a shorter...
Yah. Yah. I think that is exactly my point! (Does anyone know what he just said?)
I have no doubt that you would have "spoken to the individuals". More importantly, what exactly would you have said?
Another way to say that is "he doesn't want to be shot in Southern California"
Since an accident hasn't happened YET, I am having a hard time realizing how the timing of my "duty to speak up" reduces the validity of my claim. What's done is done. No harm no foul. ...
That may be how it is done, but it is not the way it is defined in the Sr USAt qualifications. The qualifications say that the Senior USAT rankings for the National Outdoor, National Indoor,...
Is this your preface when telling a parent why their child, that was intrusted to your care, just lost an eye? "I am sorry folks, but it was not our fault. Life is inherently dangerous".
You know that and I know that. Maybe.....no, not going to go there.
Barb, thanks for calling. It was a pleasure speaking with you. Look forward to someday meeting you at an event.
