4 more days and a wake up!
Thank you everyone! Best of luck and a safe and successful season!
I have the new Hero3+ on the way, clarity/light is supposed to have been improved, hope to have better exits this year!
Thank you very much! Hopefully that cold front will head our way next week! What the heck is with the summer stuff hitting us now??? lol... Best of luck to you too! Have a safe and successful season!
Thanks, on that chuck, my rangefinder kept giving me different readings (Simmons) so I went with 40 yards and put it on it's head, figured if it was a few more yards that the 1.5" cutting diameter...
Thank you Randy!
I heard several companies are using them, Ten Point may be one of them, not positive though.
Thank you, best of luck this season to you too!
Thanks! Loving it, love the looks and how it shoots! And it is light, moving around all day predator hunting with it is going to be nice with a...
Thank you... under 4 weeks to go! Have a great season!
Well, kind of... that is what I told my wife and I am sticking to it! :teeth:
Last year was my sons first year hunting, he started with the crossbow and this year he is heading out with MY compound...
And then you see the deer dropping in the videos and you wonder how... guess it is why a whistle that seems to make no noise to us can perk a dog right up!
I video tape my hunts and I have seen what loud crossbows do in slow motion... even at just 20 yards it is amazing how much a deer drops with a loud crossbow, I had a x-bow that was covered with so...
You must have been cranking Led Zeppelin when you were shooting those crossbows because some are like M80's or block busters going off... and some, you can put every silencer/anti vibration device on...
I will get that on video! jk, won't add the "e" to Barnsdale either!
Thanks everyone, glad you liked it!
I actually made that video for you because you asked to see the AcuDraw crank across the rail... Since I broke out the tripods and cameras and it was going to...
Here ya go, it lifts up off the rail when cranked
I only got maybe 6 arrows through it so far, I only got the scope set. I didn't notice any kind of friction with the sled when cocking it but I will give it more attention soon and get you some...
The ACUdraw has been out for some time now... is it known for scratching? And you would machine off the tab that makes no contact and just runs inside the groove?
I still have the Vent 125!
The sled, it is aluminum... here is a pic!
I use the CX Torrid SS, Rocket Sidewinder and Hammerheads and I use all of them with 2 bands and they fly like field points!
Tried the 150 gr 3.5" cutting diameter Sledgehammer, used 3 bands on...
I only got to get the scope on and shoot a half dozen arrows... but first impressions: The ACUdraw actually makes a nice rest, the Hogue grip feels really nice and will probably be great for warmth...
Vent 125 has a new buddy!
