I meant Silent Hunter.
I recently got a High Country Silent Hunter, and wondered if anyone knew anything about it ?
My Cousin just recently gave me his old High Country Sight Hunter. The draw weight is probably around 54 lbs and a draw length of about 26-27 in long. Does anyone know anything about this bow ? How...
Anyone tried to Apache 8" Stabalizer ? Looks good since you can remove the 3 in carbon rod to make it a 5 in Stabalizer. I liked it because of all th positive reviews.
What are the best stabilizers for the money ? I would like them to absorb shock, reduce hand torque, keep it stable, and not weigh a ton.
Does anyone know the typical trajectory of a 340~ grain arrow shot out of a 53~ lb bow at a 28" draw ? What does an arrows flight look like ? Any videos would be great. What on arrow has to do...
Do I really need a peep sight on my bow to properly use the sight ? I have an old brass pin sight that is a square shape.
To me the 30-06 is marginal at best for moose. The .300 win mag is the minimum to me for moose.
It's just a hypothetical. I guess sharp enough to go through animals.
Can't go shooting for a few days, it's murder not being able to shoot for a bit.
What could you humanely hunt with a 60 lb compound bow ( with heavy arrows ) if the hunter does his part ?
I just bought some Gold Tip Devastators today at Dick's Sporting Goods and wondered if anyone had shot these yet. Are they durable ? DO they fly well ?
I got it adjusted today 1 and a half turns by a bow tech but thanks anyway guys !
Just got back from Gander Mountain and Dicks. At Gander Mountain I found a great Bow tech who has worked on his own bows and his family's bows for years. Got my strings waxed, D-loop on ( which is...
Currently my bow is set at 60 lbs and 28 in draw( that is how I got it from my Grandpa's friend ) and that is a bit too much for me to pull at 14 ( but I have long arms so the length shouldn't be...
I don't want to sound picky but that is far, even going to Columbus is a trip, I live about a half hour South of Columbus.
I haven't found any online in or near Columbus Ohio.
Gander Mountain is closest and for just a basic tune and a d-loop installation I think the bow tech there should be able to do it.
Well instead of dicks I'm going to Gander Mountain, Bow tech on site and 5 bucks cheaper.
Finally decided on Gold Tip Expedition Hunter Arrows with VaneTec Vmaxx Vanes. Are they good Vanes ? IS this a good arrow ? Generally speaking.
Well for the Nock set alone ( cost wise ) he said he could do all that ( wax strings, fix nock, look at sights, general look over ) for the same price you stated for the nocking point. Just saying.
Well since I'm a newbie I wouldn't want to mess anything up.
I was looking at some stabilizers from Gander Mountain and came across these two the LimbSaver S-Coil and the LimbSaver X-Coil. What is the difference between the two ? Do they both so the same thing...
PSE Challenger, 60 lb draw weight, 28 in draw, no real arrow specs ( looking for some to get ). They have a small range. Other than getting my nocking point fixed and get my strings waxed as well as...
How about Gander Mountain ? Their Bow Tech is in tomorrow and he said they will only charge about 10$ for a string waxing and nock point fix and general look over.
I talked to one of the better Dick's Sporting Goods guys for Archery about getting my bow tuned there and he said he could do it. I was just wondering does anyone there have any good experience there...
What is the difference between the Carbon Express PileDriver Hunter Arrows and the Carbon Express PileDriver Pass Thru Extreme Arrows ? Are they both good arrows for recreational shooting and some...
Is a d-loop needed to shoot a compound bow and have the strings live longer ? I use an Allen Thumb release, so do I need a D-loop or is that just for the trigger releases ?
I was wondering how effective the G5 S.G.H. is for taking down rabbits and other small pests. I was planning on getting the 125 gr version as it would provide more energy on contact, but the 100 gr...
I was wondering of the 3 main types of arrows ( carbon, fiberglass, and aluminum ) which is best for plinking and staying usable for a long time ? Can you also include your favorite brand and...
