Call Dorge at Firenock.
You are not alone.
Buy the one that appeals to you the most. I personally think the 350 wins the comparison but either way you go you will be fine. Call David:-)
Different goals and expectations, and although quite different from person to person, they all seem to work to our satisfaction.
I shot 3 RamCats with shorty blades at 40 yards today. The LS 390...
Its all good :-) We have lots of crossbow and arrow choices. I just loaded up the truck for a trip to the farm today with the LS 390 and Middleton 375SS. This should be my last shooting session with...
Try twisting the scope counter clockwise just a tiny bit.
Randy, you are the man!:-) I love it when I see guys obviously having a great time with their crossbows just as with vertical bows. I've lived and breathed archery and bowhunting since 1963, could...
Duke, individual perception, my man!:-) "Ugly" was not mentioned in your post:-) Limbs going in the wrong direction with cams as large as pie plates and riser protruding from the middle of the barrel...
 I shoot 553 grain Easton FMJ's out of my 300SS. Sweetest shooting little crossbow and deadly accurate.
JP, looks like my double serving diameter is .170".
Hows that for service?????:-) Pretty darn cool, I think.
Some days it pays to stay in bed:-)
good advice.... I think:-)
I'll check it. All my safeties are manual except one 400SS. I'm going to recheck it and measure the serving diameter.
People that go into "big box stores" to buy crossbows get what the deserve:-)
I have multiple Middleton/Excal's and I use double reverse center servings on all of them which greatly increases serving life and I've never had a problem with triggers firing when I push the safety...
No limb changing required:-)
Talking about starting off on the wrong foot!!:-)
Bob, I highly doubt what you are looking for will come from those you mentioned. Not a slam aimed at them but just saying:-)
I double serve the center serving on my recurves. That is not the problem. Don't try to fix that yourself. Call Middleton.
In fact, Excal needs to do very little to keep its standing in the hunting crossbow industry. When you compare where they are now with new models vs 5 years ago............:-) The outer limits of...
SEW, I LIKE that scope!
I'd rather see them "buddy up" with the Stryker trigger since they are in bed together now.......somewhat:-)
See4miles gets it right. Who needs 450?
3 weeks away from seeing what the LS 390 will do, pushing a shorty blade RamCat broadhead at 386+ fps.......assuming I will see a decent buck:-) I have done no scouting due to being tied up with non...
You guys are some shooting tricks:-)
Rick, pray tell :-) what caused that? That's a nice looking little hunting crossbow there.
