Same here. Color me clueless
Bill, go shoot a new High Country. Amazing bows! Your still top of the list as my string builder of choice.
To anyone that hasn't shot Bill's strings, you can look forward to a quality string...
Yup i did. LW sticks and 2 API aluminum stands. I may spring for a LW stand also but the API stands are working great for now. I like being able set up in apple trees and such w plenty of cover no...
I'm in my garage smokin a... N jus lost it! That's awesome roflmao
I also have a tree limb quiver. No complaints.
A set- a pair of stands to accommodate a hunter and his camera man. OR,in my case, an apprentice hunter that is currently learning stand placement, cover, etc. I just moved my set(set-up) tonight
I was just in this situation tonight. Too many "poles" n not enough trees w decent cover. A climber would have been best suited but i made the hang-ons work out.
Any way you can post pics if these stands? I've got an API that is very light and works great w my LW sticks. I really like the light weight of the the Loc-on brand stands and they hang quick n easy...
They're great heads n take some abuse. I use them for deer, coons, possum. I've dug them out of tree roots, 2x6's, n sidewalls of trucks tires(oops! But killed the coon). Awesome heads
Thought the Hunter was a good rest. Then I bought the Apache. I no longer have the Hunter. It's an OK rest. Never had the bounce back issue some have. But you can buy an Allen drop rest at Wally...
I'll give the sock thing a shot
I work mornings 6 days a week. So on my inly day off I try to hunt mornings for a change. I'm excited bout my first morning hunt(tomorrow) in 2 weeks. Only the second one this season.
Light pointed straight down or just a few paces ahead of me and I cup my hand around the light so it gives just enough light to sbeak safely and quietly to my stand.
My '14 Axis us a dream come true for a huntin' bow. Two doe kills in 10 days. I believe it's 32" ata/4lbs-ish. Both times i had a follow up shot on orher deer after the initial kill shot took place....
They get hit pretty hard around here. Especially if they're in with acorns
I wouldn't let it bother me. I had 6 deer within 20yds the other night while wearing my my blue uniform pants n brown carhart coat. Went to woods straight from work. Shot the fattest doe.
Yup i would
Great topic. Thanks for posting. In for info
Woodland BDU's are great all season for me if I wear the camo
She looks like a beast! Did you weigh her? Nice shootin
I have a real hard time sitting still. Most of my stand hunts turn to stalks because i dred the thought of sitting still for several hours. My stalking game continues to improve every year and every...
I've seen 30 deer since the first. 20 of them on a 4.3 acre urban parcel. I gotta keep my shots close and perfect and hope for the best. I really don't want to drag a deer from someones yard. They...
No kills yet but have seen 30 deer since the 1st. 20 of them on a 5 acre parcel. I've seen more deer in the last 3 days than I did the last 3 seasons. I'm excited!
I've never had a near fall or anything, but just a natural fear of heights. I started out with a 16ft ladder stand but left a section out and set up with more trees for cover. But more than just the...
Awesome,Bro! You both win in this one.
I'll be out after work. I've seen great deer activity in the immediate area so my hopes are high. Can't wait to stick a big nanny. I'd love to see some monster doe pics this year. Good luck guys. Be...
Two years ago I drove 30miles and had my climber strapped on. Went to get my bow out of the car and it wasnt there. I drove back home, grabbed the bow from the house and walked 300yds across the rd...
The inside corner by the middle dot. Find a tree that allows you to cover the field and 30-ish yards into the woods. One stand on each edge of the inside corner to allow for wind changes
This was my impression if the first post as well. Unfortunately,I don't have anyone to hand one down to that would use it
