Back Squat, weighted pull ups.
Thanks for the info. I made a draw board so good to go there. I'll definitely pm you if I have any other questions.
deadlifts and front squats this morning. added in 3 sets of barbell rows from the floor and 3 sets of shrugs
Crossfit this afternoon...hang cleans + double unders
So if I untwist and hit the ATA but it's under poundage I should add twists back in until I hit the correct weight and not worry so much about ATA?
It's my understanding from reading the...
Put new strings and cable on my Tribute. ATA is supposed to be 31 1/2, right now it's measuring 31 1/4. Should I take twists out of string or cables or what to get it to 31 1/2? Thanks in advance.

Bought a rest from them a couple of weeks ago. My first experience with them and no complaints. Great price, shipped within a couple of days.
Tony, can you show a pic of how you normally like to attached a drop away cord to the cable? I've seen several different suggestions and just curious how you like to do it?
They look awesome Tony, can't wait to get them put on.
Tough to tell from the pic what shape everything is in. The plates looked rusty and bench looks dirty/possibly torn. Also hard to see what kind of bar it is. Looks to be about 250lbs of weight?
Ordered a set for my Bowtech Tribute a couple of weeks ago, looking at the pics has me pumped to get mine. They look awesome.
These will fit a 2006 Tribute?
What is the draw length set to now and is it difficult to adjust it? Have you registered the bow?
It's definitely not a push press as he even said to keep the knees locked. Looks awkward as heck. That was a really good video though. I love listening to Rip teach movements. Whether I agree with...
Wow. I'd take up golf or knitting or anything that didn't make blood come out my eyes.
I recently switched to Low Bar to try and combat some back issues. Seems to be working. I train front squats as well to help with Cleans and just work a different squat.
I've been doing it for a little over 3 years and will continue doing so. A couple of the trainers at my gym do the programming. We use to follow New England CrossFit's programming but starting our...
Front squat taxes the quads so much, and even though the weight is some what light you add the row in and it's basically 8 straight minutes of hell on the quads. They basically never get a rest.
Thats definitely what I need to do as well.
Thanks. Yes, sucked big time. It's the only movement that I just hate. I'm not great at them but hate them so much I won't do them to get better.
16:59, sucked as much as I knew it would.
I knew thrusters were coming and it still felt like a kick in the junk. Not looking forward to this one in any way shape or form. I swear I'd rather do 150 burpees then 72 thrusters.
Redid it last night. Got 27. Got to the round of 12 with about 50 seconds left and failed a couple. Need to work on my HSPU.
I've always high bar squated and never looked up. I've either looked 10-12 feet in front of me at the ground or straight away. As long as I can keep my neck in line with my spine.
I've recently started working low bar. It's toigh some days due to poor shoulder flexibility but I really like the over all feel of the lift better.
Gave it a go this evening. Tweaked my back on the first set of 3 HSPU. Got 2 then failed the 3rd trying to get my feet on the wall at the top, felt tightness in the lower middle part of my back....
My reservation about HSPU's was the difficulty in filming and getting all standards in frame. At regionals they always had a box your hands had to be in. Seems like they've addressed that with the...
Redid it tonight, got 157. Only had a few misses on the muscle ups. It hurt really bad.
Did you give the RX a try?
Your description of MU's is exactly me. I can do them pretty decent if I just jump up, keep arms slightly bent with a false grip and go at it. It was screwing with me having to hand just for a second...
