I'm currently in the market for a new backpack for hunting. It will be used in firearm season (rifle & shotgun), regular archery season, and late crossbow season here in Illinois. I'm currently...
I might buy one eventually, but I will let the 'testers' on here evaluate and figure them out first to see how they shoot.
My concerns are:
1) Accuracy due to speed and aggressive cams. Target...
I was just watching Michigan Out of Doors last night and I was floored to see the UP's deer herd has dropped from 700,000 to 200,000. That's just crazy!
Any quicker and we'll be going through a worm hole.
Well, so much for that Gearhead Archery thread and the Wyvern Scorpyd thread. I bet Wyvern aint happy right now.
I agree, a Ventilator 80 would be a sweet turkey crossbow. Hopefully it shoots...
I find that funny! You lose countless $$$ on all the crossbows you buy and sell, but scoff at $1500.
I'd like to see the Velocity reborn with a titanium riser so they could make it smaller and lighter but still use 165# limbs. Also ditch the rail and add an arrow rest up front.
Im guessing it will be reverse draw :)
Ill take it. PM me your payment info.
are your arrows spine indexed?
as far as vanes go, look at Bohning X Vane Parabolics
I personally want to see the Mission Sniper Lite. I think it will be a great bow for turkeys.
i thought schwackers had issues with cracking the shafts?
Another vote for the Nikon Bolt XR. Its calibrated at the same speed as the Sniper Lite.
Drop to $23.
Drop to $30.
How's everyones cabin fever doing?
Glad I got my Ventilator when I did. Been hearing a lot of rumors about Scorpyd lately.
what species are you targeting? that helps a lot on broadhead choice.
I bought some Drones last fall but did not hunt with them. This year I'll be testing them for sure. By the way, they are 100% steel but not 100% stainless.
Trophy Ridge Dropzone Arrow Rest. Works great, just upgrading to a full capture rest. Right hand. $35 includes S&H. Please see my other ads that I will be posting over the weekend. I will combine...
Selling an old Kwikee Kwiver Mechanical model quiver from my vertical bow days. Fits crossbow bolts and aluminum arrows well, not so much on the small diameter carbon arrows. Twin grippers made from...
Just curious if they hold up and how much noise reduction?
I was perusing the re-vamped website today and noticed Slick Trick no longer lists Nukes or 175gr xbow tips. Better stock up if you like them.
Just go post in the vertical forums. Stir the pot over there ;)
Im not talking the air brakes. Im talking the brake pads. Wyverns says they are not for the micro.
Can you say Deja Vu? I wonder whats different this time around...
For a less expensive alternative to the Burris Fastfire, Ive been looking at this Weaver:
why steel? and why not just use extended scope rings? and lastly, you should have him machine it so you no longer need the stupid washer.
Looking for the subject quiver in NIB or LNIB condition. If you are going to charge me close to MSRP, dont waste your time.
