I have 56 seasons left.
We opened two weeks ago, I haven't even hunted lol. Took my bow for a walk to check cams and that's about it. I should be more grateful
It's the HSUS infecting them with deer repellant.
I bought a badlands terra glide. If I go somewhere I will put all my clothes in garbage bags then in there, knives and broadheads in a plastic tackle box, and strap the bow in.
I understand people believing in certain things. I'm not even a proponent for extreme FOC, but I'm not going to argue facts. I posted a link a page back that explains why high FOC doesn't cause...
High FOC arrows DO NOT drop faster than a lower FOC arrow weighing the same.
The UA stuff is kinda cool looking.
If I had to shoot a mule deer doe, yep.
He's into head shots
If I have a clear shot at 40 I'm not waiting to see if a 20 yard shows up because I "owe it to the animal". Just saying. I'll eat tag soup when I can't get a shot but if it's in range I'm slingin....
I don't see it often. They normally watch it run a few seconds before celebrating. In a few seconds it's out of sight anyway.
They are cool for a lot of close up filming around and in water hazards. I wouldn't use one as a main camera from a tree. Just too wide angle for good enough footage for my tastes.
I'd personally like the shorter axle to axle. Even 1" less than your choice and go with the ultimate dual purpose: insanity CPXL
Of course they have the right. Nobody's argued that. People have the right to walk around and beat pots and pans together while you're hunting also. They have the right to set up on fencelines or in...
In your opinion. I think the squirrel hunter was being an ass hat.
Congrats bro ! Sorry to hear about the knuckle, but like you say could've been worse. Good thing that finger doesn't get a lot of strain when shooting, bet it's pretty sore.
I bet most of the people saying "the bowhunter is wrong" don't hunt public.
I understand that everyone has the right to use public, but I would never be out popping squirrels during bow season in an area I know people are or will be hunting.
I don't even feel bad about not going. Our season opened last weekend and I skipped hunting opening day. Hiked in around noon to check a cam. Between work, and working on the house after, I have no...
That first bare shaft pic threw me off a second. I thought holy hell who fletches that far forward?
Agreed on the ata. Not about stability for me but the string angle.
I would maybe pick up a Hoyt again if they go with something that doesn't remotely resemble the carbon spyder.
Hell no I wouldn't be disappointed, that's a pig! There's always next time.
I have a badlands diablo and badlands reactor. I just got the reactor because I wanted a smaller pack to keep myself from taking too much crap. It was a wise choice. I just wish it had the chest...
A higher foc is pulling the arrow towards the target, not the ground. The gravity is having the same effect on the head as the nock, they drop the same. A 500 grain arrow with 18% foc will drop as...
That's actually not true...
What would your excuse be had you shot the doe in the pictures?
Foc helps penetration a little by pulling the arrow through with less tail whip. It stabilizes the arrow sooner, but so what, it's plenty stabilized by the time it gets there anyway. Arrows with a...
