Lol, my first thought was, it looks like a set of sand tiger shark teeth.
100 grain Slick Trick Mag.
500 grain GT Kinetic
Arrow stuck in the dirt on the other side and dead pig in 30 yards....
How often did you hunt there? And on how much ground?
Did you over hunt the area and drive all the deer out?
Thumb for me.
I took to the switch from a wrist release very quickly. Some people take a little getting used to the switch.
I did 75 gr. brass hit inserts in my GT Kinetic 300's. Total weight is just short of 500 grains. I shoot them from a GT 500 at 28.5" draw and 65 pounds. Makes my bow wicked quiet and I don't have any...
I have a friend that has bought a couple bows from Dave Nesbit, I hear he's a good guy. Hopefully he will get you fixed up quick.
Are you using Tapatalk?
I killed a buck a few years back that had what appeared to be a graze wound from a broadhead across the top of his back and a small caliber bullet hole in his front leg. Upon skinning him, he looked...
I have a dip kit coming soon. Going to do my bow eventually, after I get some practice in on some other items.
Not a giant, but a very clean and symmetrial 10
They come 75 grains, but you can knock off the end to make them 50 grains. Then you can still use 100 grain broadheads and add weight up front.
That's good, at least you know the rifle hunters didn't scare all the deer away.
Still, I approach public land with the mindset that I am going to work harder than most guys are willing to. Get as...
I killed a big doe 2 1/2 miles back this year and dicided to debone and pack out the meat. I won't do it any other way from now on. So much easier than carting out in rugged terrain. And I had a...
Greg, is the area you are hunting archery only or was there firearms hunting allowed there?
Very cool deer! Care to share what county he was taken from?
I have one of your gun hoists, Thirdhandman. It is a great item for when gun hunting from my treestand, though, as others have said, I do most of my rifle hunting from the ground.
This 2 1/2 year old 8 point was my first bow kill. He was the first deer that gave me a good close shot. I would have gladly killed a spike or a doe or a spotted fawn....
Hour and 20 minute drive and a 30 minute walk at a brisk pace.
Carter Insatiable 2
I hunt both
I did not. My index finger is two inches from tip to the middle knuckle, which is about the same size as the exit.
Finally got the chance to try my Dead Ringers ladt night. Took a big doe with the 2" 2 blade.
Shot was not great, kinda center punched her. Still, she only went 75 yards and fell over.
I'm going to go against the grain here and guess he just makes it.
Beautiful buck either way!
Great bucks guys!
I hunt with a 09 GT 500. No plans to change anytime soon. Love that bow
I have a lot of miles on mine since I hunt public land for deer and turkey. They are holding up well so far
Can't wait till my baby boy is old enough to hunt with me.
