Just practice and get your anchor point set. I had to make an adjustment when i went from fingers to a release. I have never used a peep, and i can shoot out to 70 with out an issue, for practice...

what kind of draw weight are you talking about?
why not if you are able ? I believe you should shoot the highest amount of draw weight you are comfortable with.

you definitely need to find someone new who knows how to tune a bow.
do your self a favor and start learning to do things on your own. start with the little things your d-loop and arrow rest, ...
