Nor do I. For my vision, a flattened fiber looks like the Fruit of the Loom Boys, more than one fiber. Whereas a nice small round headed mushroom looks good to me.
I started a thread similar to this a few months ago and got bombarded, something about a dirtbike??
I don't use the set screw---throw it away---use a bolt that uses all the threads in the riser, the...
I don't know how to figure it before the arrow is put together and balanced and measured. But here is what bothers me about the methods used to figure FOC.
One method is measure from nock groove to...
45 acp 1911. Bow press.
The shop probably didn't leave string set on the cam when they changed the limbs. If not they had to re- sync/time.
So, last year you had it shooting good. If so, sounds like something has changed. I suggest the dl is now too long????
What speed you gettin' on the 27.5 draw please.
I have used the single up-pin for years. The only way to go.
Set it on one yardage....but, set your 20,30 etc. and then see how much you drop at 30 if it is set for 25. Then see how high it is at 20...
If your arrows are too long you may be under spined. 27-27.5 should be good with those arrows.
In 2009 all cams on the GT 500 were DLS. They didn't go to modular until 2010. At least in my part of the country.
You need to be very careful with this method, especially on hi-let off bows as you tend to overdraw then settle in, leaving the bottle cap and measurement too long.
Back in the old days, lol, the back of the bow ( toward target) was usually 1.75 in. from low point of the grip. No cut out for broadhead clearance, so the arrow had to be at least that long or...
I'd shoot him. Super. Congrats.
Hunter's friend has a good chart.
But,IMO you can cut an inch to an inch and a quarter from your arrows and you will be just fine.
There is an old video somewhere about this???? I used to use this system. Heat a medium size screwdriver from the end, while the end of the fiber is across the the shank, about an inch from the...
Without getting technical about the small anchor change as distance changes, ask your self- why would you want to block out part of the sighting aid? Center the whole sight ring within the peep. Do...
Hunters friend site has a pretty good spine reference chart. I'm thinking you would like the .350 arrows. They would a little longer than the .400 spine. Good luck.
It's your grip- every once in a while you grip the bow or do not relax your hand. I still do that sometimes on an Alpha Elite.
Exactly! There is two sides to everything, and there is no 2 ways about it.
My theory is: a slower(heavier) arrow is less apt to be moved off by a form flaw.
I have seen it all now!!!! Of course it is wrong. Even if the cord wasn't wrapped around the other cable, IMO the connection is too low cause when the rest is up the angle coming out of the rest is...
It may be some kind of string material around the peep as I see no evidence that it is twisted.
I sometimes use Astro Flight 'cause it knots and melts really good.
I don't blame you. Good shooting!!!!
