:thumbs_upThese are my two hunting bows. 8 and 6 on the Smoke and 10 and 8 on the Nitrum Turbo.
Green for me
150 grain Helix
Here is my 2 bows. I shoot them the same way no matter what I am hunting from big game to shooting spots.
I am looking at both of these also. Any one else with some insight?
Spin testing to make sure they spin true and proper spine IS important. Fletch orientation is not.
The Smoke is a great bow. I sure have enjoyed mine!
WOW! Beautiful bow!!!
Thanks guys for all of info. I welcome all opinions
I assume you have to put the SKB in a box to ship it UPS?
Thank you for that info!
I am looking at the soft cases because of the obvious weight advantage, but it would be hard not for me to use my SKB. It is heavy is its drawback.
Yea, bad choice of words on my part. I was thinking bringing it with as opposed to shipping it UPS. Sorry about that.
I use big mechanicals for turkeys and fixed for everything else.
I have a SKB (the one that is roto molded like the ice chest). I think I am going to bring the kids new Micro Excalibur as a back-up. It will fit with my bow if I take it apart.

I am getting ready for a bear hunt in Manitoba this May. This will be my first time flying for a hunt. I assume most people carry on their bow cases, but was wondering if anyone UPS or FedEx their...
Goldwing.... That is a fantastic blonde bear. The mount is amazing!
Thanks for the input guys. All the research I am doing for this hunt has me all fired up for my hunt!
I do smoke my clothes for hunting deer and hogs and I have had great success. This year I came around the corner of a briar patch, while wearing smoked clothes, on a scouting/hunting trip and found...
Thanks for the replies guys. This is my dream trip coming and I am trying to soak up as much info as I can.
Beautiful bear and mount! Congrats!!!
We didn't get any south of you. Great looking bow!
Well, it is going to take several washings to get my hunting clothes to stop smelling the smoke.... Guess I better get started.
About the rubber boots, since I grew up hunting south Louisiana...
Thanks for the reply carcus
That is a good way to spend the off season. Your setup will be fine. Have fun!
