I use the Elite 4 arrow quiver. Good fit and function w/o altering the balance of the bow (if you leave on to shoot) too much.
I like the Synergy...kinda of a cross between the 32 and the 35.

I've always used the Scorpion string fluid even on my first set of Fury strings/cables. I have not experienced what you have. Mine look slick and glossy.
