I agree with this. If someone comes to visit him and says, "wow, that's a nice deer!". What will he say, yeah I didn't shoot it but took it away from my neighbor who shot it.
WOW. Some people
Nice Cornhusker buck!
Nice Read! Thanks for the commentary
Nice video and hunt!
What temp do you hang in?
Another suggestion would be to cool meat before grinding. I usually refrigerate mine for a day after deboning before I grind it up. It works much better
That's pretty cool. Nice buck
I've seen this before. Both parties thought they had "rights" to the deer. They both had compelling arguments. The first guy made a good shot then waited 30 minutes and started trailing. He then...
Congrats! I bet you were getting nervous that you may not find him.
Can't beat that for opening day adventure
Can you guys point me in the right direction and tree to hunt the OG??? :smileinbox:
Congrats on your Montana trip. What are you hunting?
RidgeRunner, good luck! We have been buying antelope points in hopes of hunting next year. Are you guys hunting public land or private?
Keep us posted
Thanks, I have been looking at traditional GPS units, but phones have upgraded so much I think I will use the apps instead. I am in the market for a new phone, either iphone 6, Note 4, or Galaxy S5. ...
How does that work for you? Is it a subscription annually?
That's a nice wide WV buck. Congrats!!
I have my CPA license as well among other things
The price is better that way. Another benefit is that you can create your own mix instead of getting some stuff that may or may not produce.
I like Buck Forage Oats and ladino white clover. We have planted other stuff with good results like red clover, turnips, Austrian Winter Peas, and rape
I like these because they produce and deer...
Green River SP is actually one of the three places we were looking at. Is it bow only?
That's funny Bruce. Fits this thread perfectly
Finance / Banking industry
Yea if the legendary Ft Campbell poachers didn't shoot all of the deer.
As far as it takes. NO LIMITS!!
Wish I was hunting with you. Most guys on tv shoot 130-140 deer all the time. I'm glad you can pass a 140, but most people don't hunt that quality of deer
How many years (points) does it take to draw a good elk tag in WY. I have an antelope point and was thinking about buying an elk point also.
I have stated on here before, not as much difference between crossbow and compound, not as much as the evolution of the ML. ML have gone from primitive weapon to almost rifle quality
Why not good? I have both so doesn't matter to me either way. I wanted to hunt MO with my dad but he has converted to crossbow because of his age after hunting for many years with compound bow
^^^^^^^My motto is that if you have to debate shooting, then don't shoot.
