I saw the big one from the trail cam pics I think, it may have been bigger it was hard to tell. 8:00 am I here a crack 60 yards there he is freshening up one of my mock scrapes he took over. He was on the back side of the trail that most of the scrapes are on so I was waiting for him to make his rounds. As my camera guy is getting repositioned so we can get good footage, and I move into position to make a shot. A doe and her fawn step out about 4 feet from the blind look right in the window as were getting ready and she blows. They bail, not bad but they saw us for sure. She takes off the fawn follows while they are leaving they just happen to trot right past the buck making his way right for us. As luck would have there was no way I was going to keep him from folowing that doe. She walked off the fawn folowed and there I am watching my buck folow her down the same exact trail, not in my direction. At least we saw him, he is real nice in person hopefully I'll be there next time he comes by so I can wack him. Can't win them all I guess thats why they call it hunting!!!!

I've tried ordering some sent eliminating products from BA 3 times now and each time I get a "Unable to contact payment processor" comment that pops up and my order is voided.

This happening to anyone else?

alrighty ive decided on the arrows...i wanted something for dual purpose hunting and 3d so im going with the GT Ultralight 400s with 85 gr slick tricks for my 34 @ 60# and 26.5", what do ya think, after lookin over GT spine chart i should be leaning towards the heavier spine side which is from what i hear what the accomplice likes...i chose the ULs because it offers me about a 5.5 gr/lb ratio.

Sounds like a plan to me! I'm shooting GT Ultralight 22Pro seires in mine right now. Wanted the fatter shaft for 3d and the light weight for the speed pickup. They are spined .300 but i'm also shooting 70# @30" draw with 100 grain heads. They fly very good!

let us know how it works for ya!

Great choice you'll love the GT arrows.

Great buck looks like he has a drop on his left main, hope you get him. Really tall long main beams. I'd put him on the wall for sure.

I'll be doing pretty much the same thing in a couple of weeks when I head to Georgia. I will have a rifle along for certain stands that don't set up as good bow stands. The Accomplice will get top billing though!.

Just remember to let her eat at least once a year. If there is one thing you DON'T want to happen, it is having an angry slug gun on the loose in your house

Missed a doe a couple of weeks ago. Not seeing a lot of bucks yet. Farmers need to get these corn fields cut! Taking tomorrow off for my first all day sit of the year. Seeing lots of bucks while driving back and forth to work. Hopefully something walks in front of me tomorrow.

i feel your pain on the corn cutting....all of my farms have bedding areas that border cornfields and i have only seen 1 deer on stand all year (using corn to travel/bed), its getting rough even to wake up knowing my best producing stands are busts but i do it anyway....the rut is chaotic right now so i have the x-factor going

You're not going to see them at home doing chores Mark lol

FYI, someone posted a question about Athens bows over on another forum and since a few of us are members over there we chimed in and gave some legit answers about the bow. Well, now they are basically making fun of Athens and us as field staff members. I'm not posting this to start a war nor do I want anyone to lower themselves to that level & start bashing, I simply posted it to basically say that right there is just one reason I am happy to no longer be associated with that company and why I am ever so happy to be a member of the Athens family

I went to a meeting last night to organize a hunters indoor league and one of the guys there was remarking how my Accomplice looked a lot like his Elite. I let him shoot it and his comment was. "It's not as fast but it's a lot smoother" then I pointed out that I was shooting a 400 grain arrow and only shooting 56 lbs compaired to his 64 lbs and 380 grain arrow. He was impressed. Some people just need to get their hands on an new bow to become believers. It may look like another bow but it shoots a lot diffrent.

Most people have an issue with things that are different to them, I'm no different on some things. But hey, that's what we're here for as field staffers. Personally, I'm not that thin skinned that I let little things bother me much and I also believe that in time we'll get the message out. I remember when Mathews and Bowtech first hit the scene, there were those that just had to be doubters. I also believe that we need to take the high road at all times because nothing good can come from a whizzing match. Athens makes quality equipment and quality will help sell itself.

Not a problem anymore. I reported it to the Mods and they took care of it, just like I thought they would. That website is pretty good about not letting bashing happen. I will continue to be a member over there as long as they continue to adhere to their own rules. I have WAY too many friends there to stop going there because of a couple of idiots want to measure to see whose........ "riser" is longer

LMAO.................... I hear ya bud. I'm not going to stop going there because there are a lot of good people but I just think it's hilarious that you can't post pics of another companies bow & you can't talk about another companies bow; even though everyone over there claims it doesn't matter what you shoot
