Sorry guys, was gone all last week elk hunting. We saw elk but no shots... The elk were just not cooperating yet. As always we took our vacation not during the rut... it never works out. But I did get some points for our team!! Have a couple more hunts to get in and hopefully get my elk tag filled. So no worries I haven't deserted my team yet.

Sorry Ladies, I'm still here, just going thru some trying times right now. We were suppose to be hunting the early bow season for does this week, but my father-in-law had another stroke Saturday night. We spent all day Sunday and Monday at the hospital. He's home now, but has very little use of his left arm and leg. To top it off, I found out last week that I have diabetes. I'm still getting over the shock of that and now this happens, but at least my diabetes are controllable; my father-in-law has a long road ahead of him. He was just getting back to somewhat normal from a stroke in April and looking forward to going humting, but I don't know now. The Dr. said the first two week will tell a lot. Please keep him in your prayers.

Any name that you guys pick is fine with me.

Where will you be headed and what will you be hunting?

I work this week and Monday, Thursday and Friday of the next week (I get to bow hunt Tuesday and Wednesday) then I'm off for one week bow hunting and the week of Thanksgiving rifle hunting. Two weeks straight off from work, I haven't had that since I had knee surgery two years ago...I may not want to go back. This week seems to be dragging by slowly!!

We are headed to the southeastern part of Colorado. Going after Whitetails. I have an either sex tag and a doe tag. Hopefully We can have some success!!

He's in the freezer...lol. Just haven't had time to get him out and score him and whatnot. Might get it done this weekend b4 taking him to the taxidermist.
