    Rubber boots- neoprene vs. thinsulate

Does anybody have any idea how neoprene compares to thinsulate as far as warmth in rubber boots? Is 3.5mm of neoprene comparable to 200/400/1000g of thinsulate? How about 5mm neoprene? I searched around on the internet expecting to find some sort of comparison chart, but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks.

I have heard that the 3.5mm neoprene is equal to 400g thinsulate.

Not sure how they compare on insulation but, in my experience, neoprene retains smell/body odor more (which is not a good thing).

so should i assume that 5mm neoprene is roughly equal in warmth to 600g thinsulate?
