    Markings on recurve

I am just starting out to use a recurve to pratice, traditional bow hunting for first time.
I purchase a used bow i feel very compfertable w/ it, but notice their are hair line cracks at base of limb's in what seems to be a clear coat finish on both sides.
Should i be worried about breakage or is this normal for an older model recurve?
From my understanding it was used for hunting.
    It's a Browning Model: Explorer I
    56" Recurve
Over all bow is in excellent shape just a lil worried about hair line cracks in clear coat.
    Thanks , fishingman48
