So I was curious... does anyone sell the pelts or skins of the animals you shoot? If so where do you sell them?

i would doubt there would be a market for deer pelts, I could be wrong, if your really interested to see if there is a market i would look for a trappers forum, or predator hunting forum, they would be able to let you know for sure.

I sell all the deer hides I harvest, average about 4 bucks each (get knocked big time from the Rage holes LOL )
I trap, so I sell everything I trap
YOu can go to Groenewolds website, they have a schedule of where they will be making stops to buy fur. Might catch a break and get one close to you, they pay top dollar and have been very fair to me in the past.
here is the site

And you can sell almost any pelt
Raccoon, opposum, mink, muskrat, fox, coyote, deer, squirrels
anything legal in your state is legal to sell.
Prices last year and this year have SUCKED, but hopefully they will come up
You can expect to get 5-8 bucks out of a average sized coon skinned and not fleshed out so long as you keep it frozen so it doesn't rot.
Muskrat are down too, about 2 bucks , coyotes almost unsellable unless they have prime fur and odd coloration.
Really sucks , but hopefully prices will come back soon

Do other pelts that aren't deer go for more? Like bobcat, coyotes, coons, and other stuff?
