What's the best archery magazine to subscribe to

I just got a copy of Petersons bowhunting and not to thrilled with it. Its 53 pages long and about 40 pages of advertisements. Are all petersons so short and bad? I have had better luck with bowhunter and bowhunting world in the past but donít know how the newer ones are. I want t subscribe to a archery mag, whatís the best one to subscribe to?

Ya really need to put Eastmans Bowhunting journal in the line-up. I dont think they can be beat.I think they have a special on now that if you subscribe you will receive a Primos pack bugle with your paid subscription. That makes the 6 issues pretty reasonable.I like all you have mentioned, but I cant wait for every other months edition to hit my mailbox.

I don't know about bowhunting mags in particular, but the best deer hunting magazine is Deer and Deer Hunting, imo. Definitely worth a subscription.

I think i'm going to try to get the 6 issues of both EBJ and EHJ with the pack bugle for $40. sounds like a good mag and good price.

    best mags

    I picked "other"
    Bow and Arrow Hunting

    Then it would be Bowhunter
If there is a way to shoot myself in the foot, I would most likely miss anyway.

+1 All of the Peterson's magazines seem that way to me. I guess all of the magazines are a little guilty of it, but they seem to be the worst offenders. Even the "product reviews" are just the snippets that the manufacturers supply.

Bowhunter seems to have the most articles/issue.

    Bowhunting World by far.
    Then Bow and Arrow Hunting.
Bowhunter is my third favorite. Personally, I think it comes out on top of the polls because its one of the cheapest.

Deer and Deer Hunting is a great rag too, but the question was what is the best ARCHERY magazine...

I personaly like Bowhunter best then Petersons the ads really dont bother me like lookin at different items and bows and that is partially the reason their subscriptions are cheap ads pay a lot of the bill
