Iv got a AXE 6, Its my favorite bow to this date. Shot every new bow they got out this year from the destroyer to all the mathews and PSEs. I decided to go with the AXE because on 60 lbs it was faster than anything I shot. Killed a 319lbs hog with it today, 30 yard shot arrow stuck in ground on the other side. Hog went 15 yards and crashed!

Shot a 70 pounder two weeks ago. That bow is wicked, shot very well. If I had the extra cash, I would own it, but in a 60 pounder.

I've had one for about a month now. When I get off work in the morning I'll post pics if I remember.

I love it. First bow I have ever owned that I could get my HHA slider from 20 to 100 yards. I like to practice out the farthest I can sight in to. Makes the 50 and 60 yard shots here in Arizona seem so much easier.

The only thing I would change is getting the 60lb limbs. I will never buy a 70 lb bow again. The first few shots hurt in the morning, after about 10 or so it's good to go.

I have a blacked out 70lbser love it,love it,love it shot an xweave 200 28'' 334fps and completely shootable ----- sold a hoyt vulcan to get this bow and theres no comparision
I was gonna go to a 3D shoot tommorow with it but 30-40 mph winds and 10 degrees out aint gonna cut it --------- get a set of limbsaver superquads and install them about an inch from the riser, takes that little vibration out of it after the shot ------ good luck this bow is alot of fun to shoot happy birthday to PSE !!!!!!!!!

I shot a 70# one at 29" and cranked down with a 472 grain arrow (a full length ACC 3-71 with Blazers and a 100 grain point) and got 304fps. It seems a little high I know, but that was the average over a few shots. Supposedly their draws are long and the weights are higher than spec'ed. The bow I shot was set up, ready to hunt, sights, Trophy Taker FC, 7" stabilizer, loop, meta peep. At the shot it was absolutely dead in my hand, nice and quiet too. IMO more accurate than a bow built like that (6" BH big cams, etc) should be, I had no trouble shooting spots with it. I really have nothing negative to say, other than I am not a big fan of their grip/riser and I need to get better at back tension. I think it was more shootable than the AlphaBurner.

Traded in my XF6 for the Axe 6 a few weeks ago. couldn't be happier with it. The sling is made by Beenfarr here on AT. It's a doublewide and I picked the colors to match the camo and pull the string/cable colors into it. I need new labels for my Posten SJS and a new cord for my Limb Driver The HHA DS5500 was sent out and dipped in Mossy Oak Treestand along with the ends for my Posten Slim-Jimmz stabilizer
    27" DL, 70#'s, 350 grain arrow 307 fps.

This bow is on the "short list" of bows I'll be looking at this year. I want to keep an open mind but I do like the look of this one. Has anyone compared it to the 7" brace height? Is the 7 so much easier to shoot that it's worth the speed drop?

I shot them both side by side along with my old XF6 and there was no noticable difference between the Axe 6 and the Axe 7.

agreed ! other than a little speed difference the 6 &7 feel the same.
Fire back on track, I have the Black 60 lber. Great bow shoots great and like others have said, it is an improvemnet over the XF6.

Its a really nice bow, but I could never use it for hunting. IMO it has a major design flaw. . . . . . the string stopper is too close to the grip. With even a light weight jacket on it touches the stopper. If it were only about 1" lower it would not be an issue.

    Axe 6

I ordered an All Black one and a Ghost Camo one. Going to make myself a Ghost Riser and Black Limbs. The Black Riser and Ghost limbs will be up for sale, but probably not for long.

Went to a shop today and finally got to put my hands on this bow. Thought the draw cycle was nice and smooth and it felt good. Didn't get to shoot it but did shoot the Axe 7. Very little vibration without a stabilizer on it, bet it would be real smooth with one on it! Shot 286fps at 62#s with 29 in draw, 363 grain arrow.

This is the best shooting bow that I have shot. This thing is fast, smooth, holds great, solid back wall, and accurate. When I got it I knew it had a smooth draw, good back wall and was fast. I was surprised at how forgiving it is having a 6 inch brace. I had a Diamond Marquis (which is a great shooting bow) before this and I am more accurate with the Axe. It has no hand shock at all. I have it set up with QAD HD rest, Sword sight, B-Stinger Stab with coolhandluke QD, and BOCOMO fat sling. My opinion is that it looks great and shoots better.
