    Bow Resale Values

I've only owned 3 different companies of bows and have found a amazing difference demand in resale value.
I have had Mathews bows that I bought shot for a year and sold for the same price I paid a year earlier.
Some other bows Ive had are outstanding bows nice to shoot and look at but I could give a STD away easier than selling them at a reasonable price.

Anyhow Ive never own Hoyt or Bowtech are they like Mathews for resale? What other bows are good or bad in the resale market?

AT is the LAST place to sell a bow IMO. 1000 dollar bows selling for 650 or even less 6 months later, err no.

i've never seen a difference between bow companies in here.

    selling bows

I sometimes sell customers old bows on Ebay when they buy a new one from me.

The lines that hold their value the best are. In order...
    Mathews
    Bowtech
    PSE
    Hoyt

Bottom lines. Ones that do not hold any resale value.
    Parker
    Browning
    High Country
    Reflex

Anything older than 6 or 7 years old.
    Not worth much at all.

This is not an all inclusive list since there are many bow lines out there that I have not had the pleasure of selling as used.

I think the best thing going for Mathews is their great resale value. They hold value far and away better than other brands. I love Hoyts, and I'm usually shooting one, but they go down about 1/2 in value the moment you buy them. Sad but true.

Only used bows with any Re-sale value are Mathews for the most part.

Elite seams to be real good. Limbsaver real bad. Ross real bad, lucky for me though.
