    Question HHA sighting in Question

Ok HHA guys I need a little clarification about sighting in the HHA sight I just ordered. From what I have read, it sounds like the sight comes with a standard tape on it and you sight in at 20 and 40 yards, then use the numbers off the tape to figure out which tape you actually need. Correct?

Then lets say you get different arrows, change tip weights, or change draw weight and you have to re-sight your bow in. How do you do that without the original tape on there?

I could be completely off track about all of it for all I know. Any help is appreciated.

just got my hha the other week.

They give you three extra sight tapes for sighting in. Just move the lever or dial all the way to one limit and line up the 60 or 0 line and put the new tape on. Then sight in and choose the correct tape for your setup.

You can also order new tapes if you lose them or run out.

    Hope this helps

You are correct. BUT, the kit actually comes with a few different sight in tapes for this very reason.

Oh ok. That makes sense. I didn't know how many tapes they give you. This is my first slider so I'm still trying to figure the whole thing out. Thanks guys

How are you guys dealing with the view through the peep?

If you do the 20 to 40 method are you centering the peep at 30?

It also comes with blank tapes you can use if you don't want to use the pre-printed tapes.

    Slotted bracket

You also need the slotted Adjustment Bracket/ allows the ability to make minor adjustments without changing tapes again ($10)part

Put it where ever, you just aren't moving the sight, you move the angle of the bow as well so you don't need to center the peep.

I don't undersand your question. The view through the peep never changes. Your only dealing with one pin and sliding it it different elevations.

Iam guessing he means are others setting and tying their peep height for 30 yards versus the traditional 20 yards?

Sorry I should have been more clear. I bought my sight last year and asked on here some questions about centering the peep at all distances.

Guys were telling me to only center at one yardage like 30 yards or something. Then when you shoot 20 or 40 the sight housing in no longer centered in the peep. So you are not adjusting your anchor I guess.

I wrote to HHA directly and was informed this is in no way the case. Center the peep and the housing on every distance.
