How many of you names your bow or gives them a nickname? And what is it? You know, like how guys name their guitars... I've been trying to think of names for my bows and my guitar....

I've settled on "Black Sunshine", as mine is all black. The name came from a White Zombie song.

People at the archery club at my college have referred to my old Bear Pronghorn hunter in any of the following ways at one point or another:
"Ancient", "Needs to be upgraded", "Old", "Slow", "Junk", and also "Gorilla shooter" because it's draw is from 30-32 inches
Those nicknames might be valid if I didn't routinely out shoot them all the time.
My technology may be old, but it IS effective.

The name that I call my bows would not be appropriate to post on here. I prefer not to get banned!

Goes back and forth between a buddy and I - whoever has the newest bow we call it "new hotness", whoever has the older bow we call it "old 'n busted". At this point I have "new hotness" (Mathews Z7 - 3 weeks old) - gonna break it in over in Africa this summer. Really pissed my buddy off too, he only had "new hotness" for about 5 months last time.

If you do a search you'll find your question has already been asked and answered by a bunch. I answered for my old Hoyt, Ole War Horse. I still have it and it's still my Ole War Horse, except when it misses and then it's, .
